Tree Lighting - 6:00 pm

Kick off the holiday season in true Occoquan style! Gather in front of Town Hall as we light our beautiful holiday tree and celebrate the magic of the season. Mayor Earnie Porta will lead this beloved Occoquan tradition, with festive carolers adding a little extra sparkle to the evening with songs of the season. Bring your friends and family, bundle up, and join us for a merry start to the holidays!

Arrive a little early for a holiday sing-a-long led by the choir at First Baptist Church of Woodbridge. Choir members will also be roaming through town singing festive carols as you shop.

 

Cozy Fire Pit Areas - 3:00-8:00pm

Need a little warming up while you shop? Stop by one of our cozy fire pit areas at either end of town, where you can relax by the fire and roast a few marshmallows.

 

Grab a hot drink and something sweet, then settle in for a little fireside break before heading back out to explore Occoquan’s shops and boutiques.

Shop Late - until 8:00 pm or later

Keep the holiday shopping going into the evening! Explore Occoquan’s charming boutiques, galleries, and locally owned shops, many of which will be staying open until 8:00 p.m. or later. From handcrafted gifts and one-of-a-kind finds to festive holiday treasures, there’s plenty to discover!

Parking & Shuttle

FREE Parking Options

Parking is free and open throughout the historic district on the street and in public parking lots. To help with the crowds we are also offering free parking at the commuter lot on the corner of Old Bridge Rd & Rt. 123 (0.5 miles from downtown). Shuttle service is available.

FREE Shuttle Service - 1:00-9:00 pm

Shuttle service will run from the Old Bridge/Rt. 123 Commuter Lot, making it easy to get to and from the festivities.

Parking Shuttle Stop: Commuter Lot at Old Bridge & Rt. 123 - look for the blue "Shuttle to Occoquan" signs

Event Shuttle Stop: Mamie Davis Park, 205 Mill Street

Map directories with additional information and a list of town businesses will be available at the Event Shuttle Stop and at businesses throughout town.

Public restrooms will be open at 458 Mill Street (River Mill Park) and 200 Mill Street (Mill St. Draft Garden).
